Welcome to the official page of "THE 906" . We are a music group from Munising, Michigan. The U.P. - The 906. We are Flip, Shadow and Baoiee. This is our family and what we do. Everything is us and created by us. We have no producers and sound engineers. We never went to college or attended a seminar. We just like music and love making it. Check it out and let us know what you think. This is our buisness so judge us by our actions here and now and not on our lifestyles...But our goal as musicians is to be number 1 on the underground charts by January of 2011- 1 year- 1million views - 1 million plays - 100,000 friends - Thats where it starts anyway... Another goal is to help the local music community.We do open collaborations with local artists. We as "The 906" have created a basic artist network where we share resources and work together to spread northern michigans music past the bridge. Also in doing this it creates positive activities for our youth and adults to participate in. We have and continue to release free music as we push forward in our "906 Now or Never" campaign. Our community is dying as our state commits suicide. Were set out to change that. Our mission is to uplift local business by providing free advertising and promotion. A cash free sponsorship so to speak. By providing access to an unreachable demographic : Generation Next You see us in your stores and using your services. We eat here, sleep here, and live here. We are proud to be where we are at, and want you to be proud as well. Its hard to make ends meet under todays circumstances and we understand that. You wont hear me ask anyone for money.
